Rectinol is a haemorrhoidal ointment containing a local anaesthetic, which provides temporary relief of external and internal haemorrhoids, fissures and pruritus (itching).

Use up to three times daily (morning, noon and night) preferably after a bowel motion. External Haemorrhoids - Apply a small amount of ointment using a clean finger. Internal Haemorrhoids - Apply externally as above. Screw applicator to tube, then insert applicator in rectum and squeeze tube. Do not use for longer than 7 days without seeking medical advice.
Do not use on children under 2 years of age without medical advice. At the first sign of bleeding or if skin irritation occurs, stop use immediately and seek medical advice. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice.
Use only if cap seal is broken.
